In honor of Veteran's Day (granted it's a few days late) I figured I would also mix it up with Throw Back Thursday. One of my numerous side projects is to retouch old family photos and I wanted to share this little gem. The man on the left is my grandfather. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. The man on the right is his father who, with his wife, moved to America (from Rome) in the early 1920's.

The proud look on my great grandfather's face makes this a very special photo for me. When I finally finish retouching this shot I plan to hang it on the wall. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
